What are RP Guilds?
Role Playing is encouraged and rewarded on Cataclysm Infinity. Players help bring the community a level of immersion into the world by bringing their characters to life in Britannia. Players may apply to create a Role Playing guild, in which themed races and items may be awarded to help portray their characters. RP players are required to never break character in game or public chat channels or risk loosing their RP race and items. Guild Masters may be selective on who they allow into their RP guilds, as it's their responsibility to ensure role playing rules are followed. While not all players may choose to participate in Role Playing, those that do help enrich the community and overall story arch of Infinity. Those who wish to create their own RP guild can reach out to an Administrator with their ideas and submit a Role Playing story of their character. It must be clear in the RP story which race or items they will need to portray their character, without specifically having to ask. Try it yourself and enjoy!

Role Playing Races

Vampires
A race of blood drinking immortals, Vampires hold down their coven fortress in Serpent's Hold. Seldom do they have dealings with the living and prefer to lurk in the shadows and hunt their prey. At war with the Daemons and other races of Britannia, Vampires have been known to strike quickly, drink their fill of blood and flee, leaving no loot behind. With their pale skin and dark hooded robes, they are unmistakable when seen in the field. Many heroes have fallen to these immortal beings of death.
Daemons
Daemons follow arcane traditions to serve their Lord and bring Chaos to Britannia. With their stronghold in Serpent's Hold, they are no friend of their neighbors the Vampires. Although some may be skilled in the trade arts, they tend to keep to their own kind and maintain a kill on sight doctrine with the heroes of Britannia. Lord British has ordered war against their kind, but the Order makes no progress on the front lines. They have bright red skin and horns, and are deceptive and cunning. Will you survive an encounter with them?
goblins
Although historically an evil race, Goblins are naturally Neutral. A lively bunch, Goblins excel in both the trades and war. They speak in their own language which is an amalgamation of the common speak and ancient Gobo. Historically enemies of Cove, the Baron clan has been besieging them for decades. Goblins are part of the rich culture of Britannia. They often are more intelligent then they may seem, and are commonly found interacting with the citizens of Britannia in both the biggest cities and dilapidated forts.
dwarves
Great miners and crafters, Dwarves can be found in caves and dungeons searching for gems and ore. Although some of their race favor the dark forces, most dwarves follow the Order and are on friendly terms with Lord British and his empire. You can trust a Dwarf to keep his word. An ideal companion, they never shy away from danger, be it Dragons or Daemons they put up a fight. It is the Dwarves who learned to smelt Dwarven ingots, an armor worn by heroes of Britannia to this day.
reapers
Little is known about the Guild of Death. They remain a mystery even to the most learned scholars of Britannia. They have no allegiance to either Order or Chaos, and seem to follow the certainties of nature. In their presence one feels cold and numb, as if they feed on life itself. All races of Britannia flee in fear of their them, but they are not indestructible. When they are defeated after some time their spirits return to haunt the living once again.
monks
The holy Order of fighters, Monks defend the Virtuous against the evil forces of Britannia. Lord British has called upon them to be protectors of the realm, and they train hard to do so. Skilled with both sword and sorcery, wicked races of Britannia find them formidable foes. They are often found in town trading with the locals or in the field fighting monsters, sharpening their skills should Evil arise.
